The Church We See Minimize

The Church We See

By Senior Pastor Rod Gilchrist

We see a church that prioritises God’s most valuable possession…you! A church that loves you, accepts you wherever you are, whatever you have done and always lifts you up to believe in and fulfil God’s dream for your life.

We see a church that, through the grace of God, relates to our community, being sensitive to its people.

We see a church strong and solid, founded upon the commitment of its people and the service to the Lord Jesus Christ. Strong in faith, strong in works and strong in spirit. A church reflecting the truth in an atmosphere of excitement and in love through expressive worship, impacting preaching, multimedia events, current technologies, creativity and colour, while always directing them to believe for and expect positive outcomes in every situation for everybody.

We see a church that sings relevant, expressive and passionate songs, whose lyrics focus exclusively on bringing people into unity and drawing them to connect with heaven’s answers for their lives.

We see a church touching this city, this nation and the world by mobilising people in effective evangelism. A church equipped to send missionaries and supporting those who are actively achieving results for the Kingdom of God.

We see a church focused on the family from infants, to youth, to the elderly. A church accommodating all people and embracing our differences in style and taste under one common faith. A church that trains our children and youth to pursue Godly values and develop the next generation to inherit what we have begun.

We see a church built around the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the sovereignty of God, giving God all the glory; focused on fulfilling its corporate vision by motivating and encouraging everyone to do their part in fulfilling the dream we all share.

And most importantly...

We see a church that will stand before our Lord having accomplished all that God has planned for us both individually and corporately. A successful people and a blessed church to receive the rewards of our labour and hear the words...

'Well done good and faithful servant...'
